Tinker School Age Summer Camp Program

The TINKER YOUTH CENTER offers a variety of educational, social, recreational and physical programs for children ages 3-18 years; the Membership Program for pre-teens 9-12 years and teens 13-18 years, the School Age Program, the Sports and Fitness Program, and Instructional Classes.

Tinker Air Force Base is Recognized for its Outstanding Youth Sports Programs

The Excellence in Youth Sports Awards honor programs that are doing superior jobs of conducting diverse activities with a focus on providing safe and positive experiences for all participants -- including children, parents and coaches. Developed by the National Alliance for Youth Sports and Athletic Business magazine, the first Excellence in Youth Sports Awards were presented in 2000. Tinker Air Force Base Sports Program was presented the Excellence in Youth Sport Award in Las Vegas Nevada by the legendary quarterback and Fox NFL Sunday analyst Terry Bradshaw. The Tinker Youth Center received approximately $5,000 in prizes and equipment for the Sports Program from several different sponsors. Tinker Air Force Bases Youth Sports programs was also among the 2006 Winners for the Excellence in Youth Sports Awards honor program.
