Readiness

The Readiness Office is responsible for conducting Home Station training for assigned Services personnel to ensure they can perform their wartime mission requirements. We also are responsible for training and management of the Base Search & Recovery READY team. The Readiness section also reviews, coordinates, and updates Base and Contingency support plans for all of the 72 Services Division. Readiness also is responsible for scheduling training for weapons, chemical warfare, Services Combat Training, and all ancillary training associated with the Services wartime mission. We also have a member on the Exercise Evaluation Team, which is responsible for scheduling realistic scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of our Home Station and Disaster Preparedness training programs and correct any deficiencies. The Readiness section is staffed with two personnel.
