Tornadoes are most prevalent in April through September. However, they can strike at any time during the year.

PLAN AHEAD

Before the season arrives: Find a suitable shelter area in your home or work area. This should be a center hallway or closet on the ground floor. Instruct family members on actions to be taken in case of your absence.
